  2. Beautiful Job
But the KW cant be right. a 2.4L 4 Cylinder engine should be putting out more than 22KW.
My 20KW Briggs and Stratton has a 1L Engine. See v=AN9X_YuBSL4

  4. So this wouldn't work with 2 window air conditioners? Both 8000 BTU's

  5. Yes, the 5943 has enough power to run a portable air conditioner in the event of a summer power outage.

  6. This will power a portable air conditioner won't it?

  7. I just bought one of these to run a trailer mounted freezer unit. The unit pulls around 20 amp per leg, singlephase 240v. 240Vx20A~4800 watts.Amp mtr shows 30A when unit starts on building electric, then drops down to 20A when running. 30Ax240V~7200Watts.When I try to start the refrigeration unit on this generator, it almost stalls the engine out, amps jump up to 50 per leg (50Ax240V~12,000watts), voltage drops down to ~150, and compressor overload protection keep the compressor from burning out.

  8. you say you cant use this genny for A/C. My A/C compressor is a high performance soft start that when turned on, takes about 3 seconds to reach its full run amperage at 6.5 amps on each phase. The furnace blower uses 3.3 amps on one phase. I assume this shouldnt be a problem for the genny as far as rated power goes, or is there some other reason not to use it with A/C?
