  1. I disagree. I own a Generac generator and power washer and have had No problems at all with either unit. I would definitely recommend Generac products.

  2. Generac is JUNK and the manufacturer does not back their product up. DO NOT buy Generac. If you want reliability get a Honda or a Yamaha gen set.

  6. Very nice setup! Question: The vent plates on the side and back - Did you cut a full square out of the panel and install the vent plates over the holes?

  13. I don't think Home Depot sells the type of sensor I am suggesting. Look at the video from member n1bpd where he shows you how to wire a high temp shut off switch. I just ordered the same fan can you explain what kind of moldings you purchased for the surround? I would like to frame it in also. Thanks!

  14. Hey thanks for the advise, Im not completely done, I still have to run the gas line and buy the conversion kit. I understand about the temperature gauge, however I painted cars for a living and if you see where I located the air vents, a cross draft allows air from two different angles thus creating a cross flow. I will definitely buy the temperature gauge from Home depot. As far as the flooring, I did level the ground with a long level and added fine gravel before placing the pavers...

  15. Like what you've done overall. Might want to add a temp gauge and even wire in a sensor to your low oil to make sure your gen set shuts down if temperature rises due to fan failure. Nicest flooring I have seen in a gen enclosure by far! :) I'm starting mine today. Bought a suncast 3000 which is a little bigger. How did you make the base? Did you remove some dirt and lay gravel then the paver stones? Thanks
